Units of Measurement in the Field
Here are some examples of some of the important units of measurement that are used in farming:
1 acre = 43,560 sq. ft.
1 hectare= 2.471 acres
1 ton = 2000 lbs.
1 gallon of milk= approx. 9 lbs. of milk
